Laura Selicaro – Instructor, Curriculum Writer and Developer.
Ms. Selicaro earned her B.S. from Syracuse University in 1992 with a major in Environmental Design and a minor in Architecture. Her studies include: design at F.I.T. in NYC., architecture at Villa Rosa in Italy, and museum exhibit development at Cosmo Caixa Science Museum in Barcelona. In 2011 she earned her Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary Art Education from the University of Barcelona.
Laura has worked extensively as an educator, and as a designer of educational programming, museum exhibits, and outreach programs. She has worked in 9 museums in the U.S. and abroad including; the Chicago Children’s Museum, the Nature Museum of the Chicago Academy of Sciences, the Franklin Institute Science Museum in Philadelphia and the Museo Nacional de Arte.
Ms. Selicaro also pursued her educational interests in culture, history and art by extensive travel abroad. Laura spent two years traveling, living, and working throughout South and Central America. She traveled to Africa and drove for six months from south Africa to Tanzania. Another, year long, educational tour meandered through India, China, Japan, and all of Southeast Asia including Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand.
Ms. Selicaro has been working as an Instructor for With Flying Colors since October of 2014. Laura brings her vast experience and passion for teaching to the Art After School program at Chancellor Livingston Elementary School in Rhinebeck, N.Y. Laura is also developing cultural arts curriculum for Art After School. With Flying Colors is very fortunate to have her on our team!
Katalin Pazmandi – Instructor
Katalin Pazmandi is an art educator as well as a multimedia installation and performance artist. In 2000 she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts – Visual Art Education from the Karoly Eszterhazy College in Eger, Hungary; her native country. She moved to the United States in 2001. Her resume includes studies at Vestjyllands Hojskole in Denmark, the School of Visual Arts in New York in Painting and The Art Students League in New York. She earned her Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Sculpture from SUNY New Paltz in 2015.
Katalin’s teaching experience includes: Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, Instructor of Record for Introduction to Sculpture class at the SUNY New Paltz, Graduate Assistant in the SUNY New Paltz Sculpture Department as well as assistant teaching in the Internship to College Art Teaching program at SUNY New Paltz. Katalin has taught sculpture to students at E.C. Myer Elementary School through an Art After School program and taught a summer Clay Creations Camp at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center; both programs were offered by With Flying Colors, Inc.
Katalin has exhibited her works in 19 group exhibitions as well as 5 solo exhibitions. She has received a Research and Creative Project Award for 2014 and is one of the recipients of the Sojourner Truth Grant in 2015.

Board of Directors:
Kristina is a busy mother of three who creates time and space to nurture her passion for art and education. Kristina earned a dual BA in fine arts and art history from Marist College. She continued her education at Skidmore College where she received a master’s degree in 19th Century Russian Art History.
Kristina has volunteered in many capacities to support and advance the arts in her community. She brings her many talents and years of valuable experience to With Flying Colors as she Chairs the Board of Directors.
Kristina lives in Rosendale with her husband and children.
Alison Fennell Vaccarino
A long time Rhinebeck resident, Alison graduated from Bard College with a BA in photography and went on to get her Master’s of Science in Teaching from SUNY New Paltz. She is permanently certified to teach pre-kindergarten through grade 6, and has been teaching for almost 20 years.
Alison is currently teaching technology at Rhinebeck’s Chancellor Livingston Elementary School. She has also taught pre-school, run an after-school program and taught adult literacy.
Alison passionately believes in the transformative power of creative and artistic expression. She believes in the simple joys of the creative process and the importance of lifelong learning.
Alison is married with two children, a dog, a cat, a hedgehog and some chickens.
Sandy Bartlett is an appreciator of the arts. She graduated with a BA in English from Allegheny College in PA. Her love of the arts and appreciation for artists lead her to work as an artists model for 15 years. As a model she gained valuable insight into the creative process, discipline and courage of the artist.
Sandy now works to promote artists and those with artistic aspirations. She brings her literary and artistic talents together in her work at The Morton Memorial Library where she serves as the Assistant Director, the Children’s Librarian and is the delighted curator of the many art shows hosted at The Morton.
Sandy lives in Rhinecliff with her husband, cat, and chickens.
Jennifer Hauer Vinskey – Executive Director
Jennifer is a lifelong student of the arts. Born into a family of artists and art educators her childhood was infused with creative explorations. Jennifer was encouraged to study music, dance, visual arts, and perhaps above all, the natural world.
Jennifer earned an A.A. from Simon’s Rock and a B.A. from Bard College. She majored in Environmental Science and Drama/Dance. After college Jennifer pursued an interest in the Healing Arts. A graduate of the Atlanta School of Massage, she enjoyed a successful private practice as a L.M.T. for eleven years. She brings her love of entrepreneurialism and business to With Flying Colors and hopes to enjoy a long and satisfying career as an administrator in the Non Profit sector.
Jennifer lives in the beautiful Hudson Valley with her husband and daughter.
